From an empty account to a live, bookable event — seven short steps. Most organizers finish steps 1–5 in under 15 minutes.
In your dashboard, go to Events → New Event. The form only asks for the basics: a title, date and time, and a venue (or mark it online). Extra settings like capacity and visibility are tucked under "More options" — you can ignore them for now.
After saving, a Setup bar appears at the top of your event page showing exactly what's next (add a ticket → publish → share). Follow it and you can't get lost.
The event page keeps its everyday tools up front (Ticket Types, Registrations, Statistics, Check-in) and groups everything else into three small menus: Event Page (what attendees see — registration form, banner, speakers, sponsors), Promote (email campaigns, SMS, survey, QR), and More (waitlist, voting, certificates).
Tip: upload a banner photo early. Events with a real photo get noticeably more registrations than a blank card. And if you run the same event regularly, use Duplicate on the Events list — it copies the whole setup, tickets and registration form included, so you just set the new date and publish.
Click Add a ticket on the Setup bar (or open the Ticket Types tab). Add at least one ticket — free or paid. You can set a price, a seat limit, early-bird pricing, and even "buy 4, get 1 free" group discounts.
No ticket = nobody can register, so don't skip this one.
Go to Settings — the Payment Details card is right at the top, with a badge showing whether it's set up yet. Add your GCash number and/or bank account details. Attendees pay you directly — Collence never holds your money and takes no commission. When someone pays, they upload their receipt and you confirm it in the Payments page.
Running a free event? You can skip this step. Everything else on the Settings page (own email sender, Xendit, SMS) is optional and tucked under "Advanced settings" — ignore it until you need it.
On the event's edit page, click Publish. Your event instantly gets its own public page where anyone can register.
Copy your event's link (or its short link and QR code from the event page) and post it everywhere your audience is — Facebook, group chats, posters. Every registration lands in your dashboard in real time.
Tip: add ?src=poster (or any name) to links you share in different places — your event's Statistics page will show which source brought the most registrations.
For GCash/bank payments, attendees upload their receipt when registering. You get an email alert the moment one comes in, and the Payments item in your top menu shows a red count whenever receipts are waiting — open it, glance at the receipt thumbnail right in the list, and click Verify on the spot. Their ticket with a unique QR code is emailed automatically.
Open your event's Check-in page on any phone and scan attendees' ticket QR codes with the camera — duplicates are detected automatically. If you set up certificates, they're generated and emailed on check-in or when the event ends.
