Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Collence ("we", "us") is an event management platform that helps organizers run events and helps attendees register for them. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
What we collect
- Organizer accounts: name, email address, organization details, and payment/payout details you provide (such as GCash or bank account information used to receive payments).
- Event registrations: the name, email address, phone number, and any additional answers an organizer's registration form asks for, plus payment proof you upload (such as a GCash or bank transfer receipt).
- Usage information: basic technical data such as page visits and the general source of a visit (for example, that a visitor arrived from Facebook), used to give organizers aggregate statistics about their events.
How we use it
- To process your event registration, payment verification, tickets, and certificates.
- To let the event's organizer manage their event — the organizer you register with can see the information you submit on their registration form.
- To send you emails or SMS related to a registration you made (confirmations, tickets, reminders, certificates).
- To send you news and invitations from an organizer only if you ticked their opt-in box when registering. You can ignore or unsubscribe from these at any time.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your information with other organizers or third parties beyond what is needed to run the event you registered for and to process payments (for example, our payment gateway partner when you pay online).
Storage and security
Your data is stored on secured servers, uploaded files (such as payment receipts) are kept in private storage that is never publicly listed, and access is limited to the platform and the organizer of the event you registered for. We keep regular backups so your registrations and tickets are not lost.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to records we are required to keep, such as payment records). To make a request, email us and we will respond as promptly as we can.
